IBA West’s legislative advocate in Sacramento, John Norwood, was named the “most trustworthy” lobbyist in the California capitol by a survey of Legislators.
The survey was conducted by Capitol Weekly, a weekly newspaper covering politics, legislation and other events in Sacramento. They contacted the offices of all 120 legislators. The newspaper said it got a good response, but did not say exactly how many legislators participated.
Norwood has been a lobbyist working primary in Sacramento for over 25 years.
IBA West executives said in a message that they were impressed that his distinction was as most trustworthy, and that they were glad to see legislators recognized what they have known all along.
