Denver-based Pinnacol Assurance, Colorado’s leading workers’ compensation provider, received five communications awards at the annual Colorado Healthcare Communicators awards dinner. Pinnacol won two Gold Leaf Awards, a Silver Leaf Award and two Bronze Leaf Awards in five separate categories, including internal communication programs, external communication programs, annual reports, video presentations and printed newsletters.

The Gold Leaf Awards recognize exemplary health care communication programs and elements across the state. The awards were judged on planning, goals, implementation, results, evaluation and budgets.
