Amazing considering the almost total disregard for this law. Perhaps the UC Berkeley researchers were smoking those funny little cigarettes during their study.

The last sentence is not reflective of the study. They are making what is called a masked assumption. Notice how it does not say the study says…..but instead the department says….. The statement is bogus rhetoric.

There is another stat such as heavier seat belt use, less alcohol, slower speeds, safer autos, etc. that explains the drop in deaths.

Mike points out the total disregard for the cell phone law. If there was a 47% drop in cell phone related deaths, that means there was a 47% drop in use which in reality has not and will never happen.
