Confie Seguros has acquired Stonewood Insurance Services Inc., an agency that specializes in writing California non-standard personal automobile coverage.
Stonewood, a general agency formed in 200, is led by Presidetn Clyde Sturgeon, who will continue in that position. This is the 22nd transaction for New York, N.Y.-base Confie in the 12 months.
Confie Seguros has built a national portfolio of regional auto insurance brokerages.
Confie Seguros is a national insurance distribution company primarily focused on the insurance needs of Hispanic consumers. The company was founded in partnership by Genstar Capital, a private equity investment firm focused on accelerating growth and profitability of portfolio companies, and insurance industry executives.
