Although I understand the cost issue of making the DUI a felony after 3 conviction (so your 4th time) — but what else can be done. This guy had FIVE prior DUI convictions. He has not learned his lesson. He has ruined the life of this family. If not in jail, what else can we as a society do????????

I am in total agreement on that Hmmmmmm. Not jail, thats county time you mean PRISON, State time. 25 years is a reasonable sentence.

If we can’t afford the cost to put these felons in prison, then take away their driving privilege for life and mark them with a highly visible tattoo to they cannot obtain a license under another name.
