Nice article Ray! Glad someone is standing up to the embellishment of the Governor and/or weather men and women! Sure they experienced heavy flooding and our thoughts and prayers are with the folks in SC. But why do the weather folks and/or Governor exaggerate the situation and call it 1000-year flood? As soon as I heard that, I cringed because, like you, I knew it was dead wrong….a gross miscommunication of the truth. Ten – fifteen inches of rain is not a millennial event, except perhaps in the Sahara.
