This leaves the motorist who thought the tow truck would arrive in a reasonable time stranded, frustrated, scared, upset, etc. Regulation is needed. It would be nice if tow operators regulated themselves, but most of them don’t or won’t. They should at least lose their right to work for the insurers they’re contracted with.
