US Strategic Partnerships Director - Insurance & Specialist Contents

Posted on Jul 9 Remote, United States 224 views

Fine Art Restoration Company is entering an exciting new chapter in the United States following the launch of our studio in Marina, California.

We are looking for a senior, well-connected partnerships professional to help establish Fine Art Restoration Company as a trusted specialist partner for fine art, antiques, collectibles, high-value contents and sentimentally important items involved in insurance claims.

This is not a conventional sales role. It is a market-building role for someone who understands trust, credibility, reputation and referral-led growth within the insurance, restoration and claims ecosystem.

The right person will already have meaningful relationships across one or more of the following areas:
  • Insurance carriers
  • Claims teams
  • Loss adjusters and independent adjusters
  • Restoration contractors and national franchise networks
  • Specialist contents providers
  • Private client and high-net-worth insurance
  • Brokers, TPAs and claims consultants

You will work directly with the leadership team to open strategic conversations, build referral partnerships, identify pilot opportunities and help shape our US growth strategy.

About Fine Art Restoration Company

Fine Art Restoration Company is a specialist conservation and restoration business working with fine art, antiques, collectibles and high-value specialist contents.

In the UK, we have built a trusted reputation with insurers, adjusters, private clients and professional partners who require expert support when important or sentimentally significant items are damaged. Our work combines conservation expertise, practical claims experience and a clear understanding of the sensitivity involved when valuable or irreplaceable objects are at risk.

We are now bringing that specialist capability to the United States through our studio in Marina, California. Our aim is to become a trusted partner to insurers, restoration contractors, adjusters and specialist claims professionals who need access to fine art and specialist contents expertise.

The Opportunity

Fine art and specialist contents are often among the most sensitive, valuable and complex elements of an insurance claim.

When artwork, antiques, collectibles, family heirlooms or other specialist items are damaged by fire, water, smoke, impact, mould, accidental damage or catastrophic events, insurers and restoration partners need access to trusted expert support.

Fine Art Restoration Company brings specialist conservation knowledge, claims experience and a clear service proposition to this market.

Your role will be to help us connect that expertise with the right partners across the United States.

This is a rare opportunity to help shape a specialist business from the ground up in a major market.

What You Will Do

  • Build strategic referral relationships with insurers, claims teams, adjusters, restoration contractors and specialist contents professionals.
  • Identify and open conversations with national and regional partners where Fine Art Restoration Company can add value.
  • Arrange senior introductions, presentations and partnership discussions.
  • Support the development of pilot partnerships with restoration companies, insurers and claims organisations.
  • Represent the company at relevant industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
  • Provide insight into the US insurance, claims and restoration landscape.
  • Help refine our US proposition, market positioning and partnership strategy.
  • Create a pipeline of qualified partnership opportunities that can generate meaningful specialist claims work.

What Success Looks Like

In the first 90 days, you will help map the priority partner landscape, identify the highest-value targets and begin opening senior conversations.

Within six months, you will have helped establish a credible pipeline of partnership opportunities, pilot relationships and qualified referral channels.

Within twelve months, you will have contributed to building a repeatable US partnership model for fine art and specialist contents claims.

About You

We are open-minded about the exact background of the right person.

You may have worked in insurance claims, restoration, specialist contents, business development, account management, loss adjusting, private client insurance, broker relationships or a connected field.

You are likely to be a strong fit if you have:
  • Established relationships in the US insurance, claims, restoration or specialist contents market.
  • A strong understanding of how referral relationships work in claims and restoration.
  • The credibility to open doors with senior contacts.
  • A relationship-led style rather than a hard-sales approach.
  • The judgement to represent a specialist, high-trust service professionally.
  • The ability to explain a specialist service clearly to non-specialist partners.
  • A self-directed working style and the confidence to help build something new.
  • An interest in fine art, antiques, collections, high-value contents or private client work.

Fine art conservation experience is not essential.

Experience with high-value contents, complex claims, restoration, private client insurance or specialist property claims would be highly valuable.

This Role May Suit

  • A senior restoration business-development professional.
  • A claims or loss-adjusting professional with a strong network.
  • A former carrier, TPA or restoration-network relationship manager.
  • A specialist contents or private client insurance professional.
  • An experienced consultant already working across the restoration or claims sector.
  • A fractional strategic partnerships professional with the right network.

Working Structure

We are open to the right structure for the right person, including:
  • Full-time employment
  • Fixed-term contract
  • Fractional or consultancy arrangement

The role can be remote from anywhere in the United States, with travel required for meetings, conferences, events and partner visits.

Compensation

Compensation will depend on experience, network strength and working structure.

For a full-time role, we expect to offer a competitive salary, performance-related incentives and appropriate benefits.

For a consultancy or fractional arrangement, we are open to a monthly retainer with success-based incentives linked to qualified introductions, pilot partnerships and revenue-generating opportunities.

Final compensation structure will be discussed transparently with suitable candidates.
