Robert E. Beloten has been named chairman of the New York Workers’ Compensation Board, replacing Zachary Weiss, who announced his resignation in June.
Beloten was named to the board in May. Beloten served as a workers’ compensation judge from 1988 to 1996 , and from 2000 until he became a commissioner.
