Trucordia Acquires Five Insurance Businesses
Trucordia, based in Lindon, Utah, acquired five insurance businesses across the United States, building the company’s national network.
The newly acquired businesses include Assured Insurance Consultants (Tennessee), Charles River Insurance (Massachusetts), Eberle Insurance Agency (Arkansas), Breezy Seguros (Massachusetts), and Osborn Insurance Agency (New Jersey).
Each of these businesses brings local insight, specialized coverage solutions, and commitment to client care. Each business will continue to serve its existing clients.
East
Afore Insurance Services LLC, Salzberg Insurance Agency
Afore Insurance Services LLC acquired Salzberg Insurance Agency in Norfolk, Virginia, a firm with an 87-year history of serving the Hampton Roads business community. Terms were not disclosed.
Under the agreement, Salzberg will operate as part of Afore’s Mid-Atlantic region. The leadership including Ralph Soussan, principal, and staff will continue to serve clients locally in Norfolk while utilizing Afore’s scale, carrier relationships, technology, and support.
Georgia-based Afore said its partnership with Salzberg marks the beginning of the company’s planned growth in Virginia and the broader Mid-Atlantic region through its regional platform partner, BCA Insurance, and is the first of several agency acquisition partnerships Afore expects to announce in Virginia and the surrounding Mid-Atlantic states.
Afore Insurance Services is a consolidated insurance brokerage acquisition platform for independent insurance agencies. Afore has acquired more than 50 agencies and has more than 20 offices nationwide.
Midwest
Coalition, Wirespeed
Coalition acquired Wirespeed, a cybersecurity platform based in St. Louis, Missouri. The acquisition will combine Wirespeed’s managed detection and response (MDR) with Coalition’s suite of cyber risk management tools and coverage.
At launch, Wirespeed MDR will integrate data from Coalition’s Active Data Graph, including external attack surface monitoring, cyber claims data, and more, into its Automated MDR to give more businesses access to 24/7 protection.
Wirespeed CEO and co-founder Tim MalcomVetter will join Coalition as general manager, security, and CTO, and co-founder Jake Reynolds will become head of engineering, Coalition Security.
ReSource Pro, Supportive Insurance Services
ReSource Pro, a strategic operations partner serving the insurance industry, acquired Supportive Insurance Services (SIS), a provider of licensing and renewal services based in Indiana.
SIS’s deep specialization in adjuster licensing and compliance services complements ReSource Pro’s existing offerings, which include surplus lines tax filings and corporate and franchise tax reporting. Together, they give insurers access to end-to-end compliance solutions with technology that simplifies data sharing, reduces manual work, and keeps compliance activities running smoothly.
South Central
Alliant Insurance Services, Highpoint Insurance Group
Alliant Insurance Services, headquartered in Irving, California, acquired Highpoint Insurance Group, a multi-line broker located in Friendswood, Texas.
Highpoint Insurance Group, with 44 employees, will operate as Alliant following the acquisition. The firm serves the middle market in the Greater Houston area, with commercial and personal lines and employee benefits insurance, and particular opportunity for growth in the oil and gas and construction and surety industries.
The acquisition is the second in Texas for Alliant in the past month, following McAfee Insurance Agency in Mercedes, a leading insurance service provider in East Texas.
West
Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Surescape Insurance Services LLC
Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. acquired Denver, Colorado-based Surescape Insurance Services LLC.
Doug Rothey and his team will remain in their current location under the direction of Bret VanderVoort, head of Gallagher’s South Central retail property/casualty brokerage operations.
Surescape is a surety specialist and insurance agency serving the construction industry across the U.S.
Arthur J. Gallagher is a global insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting services firm headquartered in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
