Sorry I don’t believe it my daughter was at someones house and got drunk and ended
up being sexually assaulted after she passed out. I reported it, gave all the information but they didn’t want to deal with it. My daughter was wrong for participatig but she was 15 and the adult
gave her the liquor. Maryland does not participate in following this law

Can anyone tell me the answer to this question:

Does a parent have the right to give alcohol to their child in the state of Massachusetts in their own home?

    Thanks for your response.

I need to ask, WHY would you as a PARENT want to give your minor child alcohol? Nevermind, don’t answer..NO good reason to give a minor a drink or two or three….Unbelievable!!

why would parents give their kids alcohol when they are under age? Do parents know that they are bad role models and contribute to their kids bad behavior. Well, I have kids and I told my kids that alcohol was for them until they got older.
They didn’t understand but I showed them a bottle of beer and they tried it and it mad them sick. Then when they got 21 years old they started to drink but their health won’t let them. I am so fortune that I was bless with good kids. So you see give kids the bottle and my kids learn the hard way.

I am looking on ramifications of allowing a your minor child to consume alcohol and drugs in your home, with the result of suicide. what are the parents liabilities to other parent of child.

A little history here is needed I guess, grandson’s mother, not his legal guardian knowingly provided drugs and alcohol to him, his girlfriend and another minor sibling, they also consumed them. Mother then gets in argument and stuck child in face, the child then gets a gun and shoots himself, resulting in his death. What are the charges that could be brought against her and the step-father who was also present?
