My husband own his own transportation business. On one of his local trips I joined him on a run. On exiting the tractor, I sliped and fell backward out of the tractor. Not having personal insurance for us or with the business, I decided not to go to the hospital. A couple of years later am criple and unable to get out of bed. For the last four years now I’ve suffered severely with my back and neck resulting from this fall. It happened in 5/05, Can I still file a claim. Should I obtain a lawyer first? My husband is no longer in the business, but can the insurance company come after him.
