What I see is fatigue and burnout at every level. Agency, carrier, production, support staff. Doesn’t matter. Everyone is over worked, exhausted and barely making it day by day. At lower levels more are taking second jobs, since 2% merit raises in a multi-year inflation environment are pay cuts. Leadership/ownership doesn’t understand why morale is low. “Too much work/not enough people” isn’t an acceptable answer, so they pretend not to hear it. For years this has been going on. 2023 will be worse, and 2024 will be worse than that.
