The Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS) revoked the insurance agent license of J. Henry Edgmond of Portland, Ore., for misappropriating funds belonging to Stewart & Tunno Insurance Agency Inc.
An investigation by the DCBS Insurance Division found that the agent used a $500 check, drawn on the premium trust account of Stewart & Tunno Insurance Agency, to pay the rent on his apartment. Edgmond repaid the money after the agency discovered he had misappropriated the funds.
