Nuts & Bolts: Euclid Managers LLC is offering a market for Internet liability. Coverage is for the small and mid-sized cyber risk companies. These products are customizable featuring the option to add additional covered services directly on the policy forms. Coverage for the insured’s own Web site activities is provided. Also, coverage is not just for the traditional materials, such as print and audio but for new age materials such as digital code, masked works, scents, sounds, tastes or textures, as well. The ClickStream connected services (Internet) liability and HyperDrive technology liability policies both offer security protection, including protection for an insured’s failure to prevent identity theft or credit/debit card fraud. In addition, both policies feature coverage for personal injury perils and content (e.g. copyright and trademark infringement), as well as E&O protection.
Dollars: Policy limits up to $5 million. Minimum deductible is $2,500. Minimum premium is $1,500 to $2,500.
Carrier: Hudson Insurance Co., rated “A” by A.M. Best, non-admitted.
