Lemac General Agency in Orange, Calif., has added a new market for workers’ compensation. Eligible classes include, but are not limited to, agricultural operations, building operations, contractors (no roofers or framers), habitational, janitorial, manufacturing, professional (attorneys, doctors, insurance agents, etc.), retail stores, trucking and wholesale stores. Over 200 classes of business are eligible. The carrier will also include out of state exposures (incidental to California-based risks only) and can consider clients with poor loss ratios and even lapsed coverage. Experience modification factor must be under 125 percent.
Dollars:
Annual premium must be between $5,000 and $115,000. There are no deductibles and limits are statutory.
