Office/Manufacturers Technology
Nuts & Bolts: Travelers Select Accounts is now offering Technology Office Pac and Technology Manufacturers Pac Plus as part of Master Pac, Travelers’ Business Owner’s Policy for small commercial insurance. They cover small technology businesses and provide two new optional endorsements. The new products address more than 25 specific coverage features, including Denial of Service Attack and coverage extensions found in Travelers’ XTEND Endorsement. Technology Office Pac is for computer consultants, software firms, or Web site designers. Technology Manufacturers Pac Plusis is for manufacturers of tech products. Denial of Service Attack protects against loss of revenue due to the suspension of computer operations caused by an attack. Denial of Service Attack provides coverage up to $25,000 and is attached to every technology account with business income and extra expense coverage. Denial of Service Attack is also available for non-technology businesses to a $10,000 limit.

Dollars: $2 million/$4 million general liability; umbrella, $25 million.

Truckers Auto Physical Damage
Nuts & Bolts: AIX Group Inc., a specialty insurance holding company, has formed a new program to provide automobile physical damage coverage to commercial trucking operations. This program will be targeting operations with above average loss experience and fleets between five and 75 units. Commercial light, medium, heavy and extra heavy trucks, tractors, trailers or sem-trailers up to 10 years old may be insured. AIX Group will source this business through agents with a minimum of $100,000 in controlled APD premiums in the trucking sector.
