CNA Personal Insurance has changed its name to Encompass Insurance, pledging to sell only through independent agents. Encompass sells through a network of more than 3,700 independent agents. Encompass President Ernest Lausier said the brand pledge to independent agents, coupled with the company’s products and claims service, gives Encompass a competitive edge to grow premiums and become the market leader in the independent agency channel.
