CNA Maritime has established “Ocean Marine Manager network interface,” (OMMni), “an automated cargo insurance system accessible over the Internet.” Designed by CNA Maritime Group, the ocean marine arm of Chicago-based CNA Financial Corp., the first stage of OMMni allows potential customers to receive real-time quotes, issue certificates, pay by credit card, and access an array of other policy services, such as on-line reports and e-mail services. The free system is available to all agents, brokers and insureds.
