Fort Worth’s GAINSCO Inc., a holding company selling non-standard insurance products, has begun trading its common stock on the OTC Bulletin Board under the ticker symbol “GNAC.” The company’s primary insurance subsidiaries are General Agents Insurance Company of America Inc., MGA Insurance Company Inc., GAINSCO County Mutual Insurance Company and Midwest Casualty Insurance Company, all active in the Southeast. GAINSO sought a new market through which to trade its stock after being delisted from the New York Stock Exchange earlier this year.
