West Virginia Insurance Commissioner Jane L. Cline and Kentucky Insurance Executive Director Martin Koetters kicked off “Get Smart About Insurance Week,” Jan. 24 – Jan. 28, in their respective states.
“This campaign isn’t about selling or canceling policies,” Cline ex-plained. “It’s about making sure families are properly covered.
“With insurance, knowledge is the best policy,” she said. “It just doesn’t make sense to ignore it; too often, people buy an insurance policy and forget about it, or they don’t make any changes to it over the years until it’s too late.”
