Atlanta-based AssuranceAmerica Corp., with operations in Georgia, Florida and South Carolina, has been approved by the Department of Insurance to sell policies in Alabama.
AssuranceAmerica, a property and casualty insurance organization, focuses on the non-standard private passenger automobile market. It operates company-owned retail insurance agencies TrustWay Insurance, AssuranceAmerica Managing General Agency and AssuranceAmerica Insurance Company.
TrustWay operates 32 retail agencies in Florida and Georgia, while the MGA markets the company’s insurance products through more than 550 participating independent agencies in Georgia and South Carolina. It also has approval to write in Arkansas.
