CE CREDITS APPROVED FOR SAFETY SUMMIT

The Texas Department of Insurance has approved continuing education credits for insurance adjusters for breakout sessions offered at the 9th Annual Safety and Health Conference on May 11-12 in Austin.

Attendees at the conference, also known as the Texas Safety Summit, will receive one hour of credit per session attended. A total of 12 credits can be earned during the two-day meeting, which is sponsored by the Texas Workers’ Compensation Commission.

The registration fee for the conference is $250 per person by April 18, and $275 per person on or after April 19. Discounted rates are available for groups or employers that register five or more participants.

Continuing education credits also will be provided by Texas State Technical College.
