TDECU Insurance Agency LLC in Lake Jackson, Texas, added Wesley “Wes” Wolff as president. He brings more than 30 years of insurance agency expertise including sales, sales management and strong leadership.

Wolff joins TDECU Insurance Agency from Bremer Insurance in St. Paul, Minn., where he was CEO for 14 years.

TDECU Insurance Agency’s insurance offerings include personal property and casualty, commercial products, payment protection, travel and life insurance. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Texas Dow Employees Credit Union.

York, Pa.-based Glatfelter Insurance Group has formed Glatfelter Program Managers (GPM), a new unit dedicated to program business.

Arthur Seifert, most recently with Southwest Insurance Partners Inc. and its Beacon Hill Insurance Agency, is joining Glatfelter as president of the new company.

In 1994 Seifert founded Lighthouse Underwriters, which he subsequently sold to U.S. Risk in Dallas, where he then served as chief underwriter. In 2009, he joined Southwest Insurance Partners Inc. as CEO of Bunker Hill Insurance Agency. Seifert is a past president of the Target Markets Program Administrators Association.

GPM’s specialty programs include those for fire departments, ambulance and rescue squads, and 911 centers; educational institutions, municipalities, independent school bus contractors and water/sewer entities; and hospice and home healthcare agencies.

U.S. Risk Insurance Group Inc. appointed Tony Greer as senior broker in its Austin, Texas, office. Greer has five years of insurance industry experience and specializes in property, inland marine and ocean marine risks. He previously worked for Southwest Risk LLC and Peachtree Special Risk Brokers LLC.

Paul Davis National, the large loss specialists for Paul Davis Restoration, has named Lloyd Swiggum as president. He is based in Fort Worth, Texas.

Previously, Swiggum served as president for a Fort Worth-based full service, global disaster recovery company. Swiggum has experience as a business broker and consultant in disaster recovery, construction, environmental, franchise, cleaning, and general business industries. He also has served as an executive in advertising, sales and marketing, and operations to name a few.

The Woodlands Financial Group Inc. of The Woodlands, Texas, expanded its operations by opening four new branch locations.

Noel Sanchez opened a new branch in San Mateo, Calif. Sanchez has 14 years of experience in the insurance industry, most of it with Allstate.

Evan Keenan opened a new branch in Spring, Texas. Keenan previously was with State Farm.

Jon Brasher opened a new branch in Benbrook, Texas. He has six years of experience in the insurance industry.

Aaron White, previously with Farmers Insurance, opened a new branch in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Markel Corp. promoted four in its wholesale division. Sarah Gavlick, Steve Girard and Susan Swanson were named regional presidents, and Wendy Houser was promoted to managing director for wholesale marketing.

Gavlick is regional president for the northeast region, headquartered in Red Bank, N.J. Girard is the regional president for the Southeast region, headquartered in Richmond, Va. Swanson is the regional president for the Midwest region, headquartered in Deerfield, Ill.

Houser is the managing director for wholesale marketing. She had served as senior director, wholesale marketing since August 2010. She joined Markel in September 2008 as the marketing manager for Markel’s mid-south region in Dallas, Texas.
