New York-based Savings Bank of the Finger Lakes announced it has established an insurance agency with L.A. Lama Insurance to offer a full range of property and casualty insurance products. Through a joint venture, called The Insurance Source, individuals can obtain quotes on auto, home, commercial and other types of insurance in a Savings Bank of the Finger Lakes branch office or over the phone.
G. Thomas Bowers, president and CEO of the Savings Bank of the Finger Lakes, believes customers will appreciate convenience and reliability of purchasing insurance through their bank.
The bank’s partner in The Insurance Source, L.A. Lama Insurance, is an Upstate New York multi-line insurance organization and represents many top insurance carriers.
The Insurance Source intends for customer service representatives at the bank to assist individuals in filling out a brief questionnaire outlining their insurance needs. Once the questionnaire has been submitted, Insurance Source representatives will contact the individual within one business day with a bid. Insurance Source representatives will be available through a toll-free number to answer any questions and service any aspect of the policy.
