L.A.-based David Morse & Associates, a national claims administration and independent adjusting company, announced that it has opened a new claims office in Providence, Rhode Island, which will facilitate claims coverage in the state and add to areas currently served in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
David Morse, founder and Chairman of DM&A, stated: “What makes our company different is our emphasis on quality and consistency in our branches. In the beginning, only those who had adjusted and supervised for us for many years were offered the opportunity to start a new branch office. Now, with current computer system technology, we can control quality and service from a distance. This gives us a larger pool of potential branch managers than just those who come up through the ranks at DM&A. The technology, along with the training we provide, makes consistent quality possible.”
Morse has named Lawson R. Smith to head the Providence office. He has 21 years of claims experience, most recently as a Senior Claims Supervisor for Providence Washington Insurance Company. “I am excited to become a part of the DM&A team. They are known as an experienced and high quality claims operation and I’m happy to be part of that,” Smith stated.
