Having been an adjuster in the field for over 15 years for many major Insurance companies, I find myself educating Insureds all the time on their policy coverages.
I feel that the agents need to get their act together and do a little more follow up on their customers or spend a bit more time going over the policy with them.
Spending time with their customers usually amounts to more business for the agent’s office so why wouldn’t they do it?
I find this policy problem with almost all coverages.
