It might help the business economy a little but it would surely harm injured workers. Colorado had a ‘model’ w/c program that is being corrupted by big payoffs to Insurance attorneys, and unfortunately to unprincipled but highly skilled w/c specialist physicians who always find for the insurance companies. Oregon has just passed a bilklk to prevent this by setting up a w/c system similar to colorado’s– but it won’t. Greed always triumphs.
