Hall Named Deputy Superintendent, CEO for N.Y. Liquidation Bureau

August 15, 2005

New York State Insurance Superintendent Howard Mills has named Jody Hall as special deputy superintendent and chief executive officer of the New York Liquidation Bureau.

Hall will direct the overall operations of the bureau, which is tasked with the rehabilitation and liquidation of insurance companies. Hall succeeds James P. O.Connor, who left the position to pursue other opportunities.

Since September 2002, Hall has been serving as the assistant special deputy superintendent and chief operating officer of the liquidation bureau. In that capacity, she has been instrumental in the success of key initiatives at the bureau.

Hall came to the Bureau in 2002, after having served in the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs under former Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
