When are we as U S citizens realize that a drunk driver will not change until they are forced to. Tougher laws and penalties are necessary. The penalties and fines paid by these potential killers may just save the lives of others. It’s too late for my family. My father and brother were killed in the same drunk driving accident some 40 years ago. The guy never spent a day in jail, never paid a fine.
The government’s job is to protect citizens against those who would harm us. Drunking driving doesn’t just harm us, it kills too many.
