GEICO reported that Nancy Pierce will head its Middle Atlantic operations which include Washington, D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and West Virginia. Pierce will also head the company’s property insurance operations that include homeowner’s insurance, renter’s insurance, condo and mobile home insurance, boat coverage, and overseas insurance.
Pierce succeeds David Pushman who was recently named vice president for the company’s national underwriting practices in GEICO’s Washington, D.C., headquarters.
Pierce has served as assistant vice president with responsibility for underwriting in GEICO’s regional operations in Fredericksburg, Va.
In 2000, Pierce was named a regional vice president for GEICO’s California and West Coast operations.
