As much as I would like to see something like this succeed, I don\’t have a lot of feeling that it will. Hopefully, I am wrong, but getting a State Gov\’t to try and run such a program is only going to cost taxpayers much more in taxes, there will be layers upon layers of red tape and corruption and the quality of care and most likely the quantity of care will be dismal at best. We see how it works in Canada, and they don\’t even try and collect premiums. What are they going to do, start putting people in jail who don\’t pay. This will end up being just another gov\’t program that doesnt\’ do what it was intended to do and become a waste of taxpayer dollars.

The Nanny State strikes again. Leave it to democrats to surpress the freedom of the people and the Constitution.

Next on the agenda, Fast Food becomes Ilegal.

Over the years I have listened to the Amount of uninsured and have never heard anyone mentioned that some of uninsured do this by choice. They have the ability to afford health insurance but choose not to obtain the coverage. In this country we have choices and in most cases are able to make our own decission. My first question would be, are these individuals, who by choice decide not to carry health insurance going to be required to participate? My second question would be reguarding the coverage. Are these individuals going to obtain useful benefits or is it just a political ploy?
