Gray Joins First Cardinal

First Cardinal LLC has hired Justin Gray, of Albany, N.Y., as its new marketing communications manager.

In his new role, Gray will develop strategic marketing and public relations initiatives and oversee production of the company’s various communication efforts, including newsletters, brochures, advertisements and direct mail materials. He will also serve as liaison to the media, drafting news releases on company announcements and milestones.

Previously, Gray was employed by Sawchuk, Brown Associates, an Albany public relations agency, where he was responsible for managing a variety of the firm’s accounts in industries including construction, health care, higher education, non-profits and workers’ compensation. In that role, he developed public relations and marketing plans and drafted articles, news releases and advertisements.

He is also the former communications chair of the Capital Region chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and remains an active member with the organization.

Headquartered in Latham, N.Y., First Cardinal LLC administers 23 self-insurance groups that provide workers’ compensation coverage in New York state, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Texas.
