Except for disclosing finances I agree with everything you said David. Until the church proves real reform everything they say is tainted by their lies, omissions and hypocrisy.
That being said I hope they win the appeal. I don’t think somebody who waits 30 years to sue, waits until there is already blood in the water, deserves a dime. If money goes anywhere it should go to setting up a counseling center or some other such effort – not into anybody’s pocket.
