It’s about time. Thank goodness someone finally did this. There is so much to learn in insurance and learing it all in the School of Hard Knocks is not only inefficient, it causes a lot of mistakes to be made, sometimes to the detriment of insureds.

    Thanks CT.

St. John’s University in Queens bought the College of Insurance a few years ago and they offer both undergraduate and graduate programs in insurance and risk management.

Hartford may be the “insurance capital”, but the real capital is New York. With insurance professionals retiring across the state, and with the hugh SUNY system – how come there are no insurance courses available?
Is New York only to give degrees in “do you want to super-size that combo?”
