This guy apparently never heard of the phrase “get it in writing.”

It sure is easier to sue for breach of contract when you have an actual contract to present. Though there may have been consideration, offer and acceptance, even without a written contract, it does not make his case any easier.

I would bet Mr. Brady has some high priced legal help, and the case sounds like one’s word over another’s.

Karma, gotta love it. Unfortunately it came to the wrong Tom Brady who is sitting out the rest of this season.

    Way to go dad.

There’s an old saying that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. From all accounts, Tom Brady (QB extraoridinaire) is a very decent, down to earth guy. He didn’t become that way by accident. I am willing to give Tom Sr. the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

While I agree with you that nothing has yet been proven, keep in mind that great kids can come from not-so-great parents. Just because Tom is an amazing QB (one that, even injured, most teams would still rather have as their starting QB) and seems to be a great guy doesn’t mean his old man couldn’t do something crooked.

    For Tom’s sake, I hope he’s innocent.

Good point Ralph. I mean just look at the Kennedys. Uh, wait, how about the Bushs. Wait a minute; OK, Evil Kinevel?… Ma Barker? … Ozzie Ozmond! Oh, forget it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this turns out to be another case of someone going after deep pockets knowing that son will help dad if need be. I’ll be impartial and wait for this to unfold.
