After 2 failed attempts with setting legislatures to create an insurance fraud bureau the new Maine Attorney General just within the last 2 weeks prosecuted two insurance fraud cases in Southern Maine! The new attorney general, Janet Mills, testified during the recent attempts to create a Maine insurance fraud bureau, and I might add before she was elected to her new post by the new legislature, that Maine does not need an insurance fraud bureau. Maine’s historical record of insurance fraud prosecutions is dismal to say the least
