Judge Agrees to Freeze Assets of Connecticut Chimp’s Owner

    ….well, Thank God, the Judge froze some assets……
    And the monkeys’ owner ( with all her wealth) didn’t have Home Insurance.
    Well, that’s good for the industry..-but if I were her agent, I might be losing some sleep tonite..
    Lastly: We need LAWS to PROHIBIT the keeping of JUNGLE animals in populated areas
    Enough of this madness already !
    This wasn’t the first of this type animal attack .

    I just assumed she didn’t have insurance cuz she couldn’t get it, due to the unusual exposures. Who knows what else was lurking on that property…!

    in the article it states it might list other defendants? who else could it be?

    the state and city for allowing to retain this animal which is an unusual pet and not requiring any insurance. did she have a permit for such animal? most cases w/these kinds of animals, they have to have an approval for them to be allowed in housing areas. we will never truly know the full story about the actual attack. main concern – how did they allow her have a pet monkey (unusual animal in the state/house)w/o insurance?
