It just happened that the vandals chose cars and trucks that had sat on the lot for several years unsold… you know, the 70’s era Vegas and Pintos, K Cars, etc.
Wow, what a coincidence!! Good thing the dealer has insurance, eh?????
I stand corrected… Jon Lewis, the owner, stated: “My insurance isn’t going to cover this,” Lewis said. “This is all out of pocket, and the way the economy is, it’s going to be very expensive.”
I do have sympathy for the small business owner that is the victim in such circumstances.
However, my question to the Insurance Journal is, “Why post this?” It’s not related to insurance.
If the perps (punks) who did this are juvvies, perhaps the vic can pursue recovery from the dear old Moms & Dads…-or from their Homeowners/Liability policy
But the key to it is: tough laws, and enforcement

Just kidding…. (not meant to slander the car dealer).
If you can’t trust a used car dealer, who CAN you trust??
Honestly, I don’t know the specifics of this particular case, but I would suspect that a thorough investigation is in order…

Hey J Doe,
Think before you post.
