Why would anyone disclosure their sexual orientation with regard to housing, employment, public accommodations, public works contracting or insurance? Is this information that is being asked for?

They need only to be perceived as being gay or lesbian and be fired, evicted, etc. Besides, heterosexual people disclose their sexual orientation every minute of their life so why can’t gays & lesbians?

It’s pretty hard not to disclose your sexual orientation at work. People talk about (and get asked about) their significant others all the time. For most people, they’d have to go out of their way to hide it if they were gay. And if you live with your same-sex partner (or if you bring your dates back to your place), then it’s probably going to be known to your landlord as well. And an insurer might well infer from your personal information that you’re gay. And of course you can also be discriminated against because of your perceived sexual orientation, even if it’s not your actual sexual orientation. So your argument is empty.
