Virginia to Consider Increase for Some Workers’ Comp Rates

    Lets see, won’t this make coal more expensive. Sort of helps the environmental cause. There is nothing to justify this amount of increase.

    Nothing? if it was nothing, no meeting would be scheduled, don’t you think? And I can’t help but wonder if this is going to be the same thing, like SC, where politics got into the way of implementing actuarially sound rate increases, which were rejected and the voluntary market dried up. Why is it that everyone has an opinion but nothing to back it up? Unjustified? Just wondering what you base that on? Have you seen the filing? Know anything about rate filings and the documentation and calculations that are necessary to support such filings? or is this just a knee-jerk response?
