I’m sorry, but how does a state that small have 39 cities & towns? I have to put my glasses on to even find RI on a map. I know 50 states has a nice ring to it, but rather than JUST consolidating the number of cities/towns, why doesn’t CT or MA absorb RI? Talk about streamlining government!
i would have thought california or new mexico might have been higher. interesting is that the smallest state is the one w/the most money spent.

I have lived in RI for 40 years and the amount of money wasted on Fire and Police in this state is TOTALLY insane !!!!!! DOUBLE the NATIONAL AVG

Either state would be better than RI, probably Mass
