Firefighters in Hampton Beach put out a fire at a multifamily home only to be called back for a second fire 30 minutes later.
Authorities say the first blaze broke out about 4:30 a.m. Thursday. The second one occurred within an hour after the first was extinguished, on the second floor of the building on M Street.
Fire Chief Chris Silver tells the Portsmouth Herald that investigators are trying to figure out if the fires are related, and what caused them.
