Authorities say they are investigating the death of a worker at a North Kingstown company.
Police say the 26-year-old man was moving equipment at Composite Rigging Co. on Tuesday when a cable snapped and hit him in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another worker, a 22 year-old man, was taken to a hospital with a minor injury.
Their names were not immediately released.
Composite Rigging, which makes carbon fiber rigging products for yachts, did not return calls for comment.
