Vermont Mutual Insurance Company, based in Montpelier, Vt., recently appointed industry veteran Donald Rung as property risk control manager.
Rung has more than 33 years of loss control experience in the insurance industry in New England and nationally.
He has held management positions at Lumber Mutual, Providence Washington and most recently as loss control vice president at the Mutual Fire Insurance Association of New England.
Vermont Mutual said Rung brings specific property insurance expertise, which will help deepen the company’s underwriting and risk management capabilities and add value to agency partners.
