Leave it to the private market to come up with something the public can use to save money. Perhaps when Obamacare is overturned, we will have more of these offers done online to fill a lot of the healthcare needs of the folks. They can buy the high deductible coverage for major conditions, surgeries and these maintenance items for the small stuff. Makes more sense than mandating one size fits all and fining people for not getting it.

        Agreed, Amazed,
It’s a great idea for minor stuff but you won’t see a Groupon for heart surgery. Pay for your own maintenance and have insurance for the big things. That is what insurance is supposed to be all about.

        Happy New Year to all.

Please stop perpetuating false information about the individual mandate. It does not require one-size-fits all. It does not require that everyone have the same coverage. It merely requires that you have an approved plan. My employers plan is undoubtedly different than your employers plan and both will be covered plans.
