Warwick, R.I.-based agency Affiliated Insurance Managers is expanding its commercial insurance division and appointed industry veteran Heidi Forte to the new position of commercial insurance marketing manager.
With over 25 years of experience in the commercial insurance industry, Forte will be responsible for the marketing of new and renewal business and managing insurance carrier relationships. Forte, a resident of Cranston, R.I., most recently served as director of marketing for the Rhode Island branch of a national insurance agency.
Founded in 1937, Affiliated Insurance Managers is an independent agency offering both personal and commercial insurance lines, including life, disability and specialty insurance programs. Its products include business owner’s package, workers compensation, inland marine, auto insurance, homeowners and renters insurance, umbrella insurance and flood insurance.
