Eugene F. McDonough has been appointed as New England regional executive and vice president of U.S. operations for Ironshore Inc.
McDonough, based in Boston, will be responsible for business development and program oversight in the region representing New England and Upstate New York, reporting to Joseph L. Boren, president of U.S. field operations. In this expanded role, he will continue to serve as assistant vice president of IronPro, Ironshore’s professional liability management division, under the leadership of Greg Flood, president.
Prior to joining Ironshore in 2010, McDonough served in various underwriting positions with AIG National Union and MetLife. He also was a marketing specialist for various product development, sales and training programs for Forest Laboratories and The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center in Boston.
