Rye Brook, N.Y.-based specialty insurer The Navigators Group appointed Jennifer Yang as chief risk officer.
Yang will be responsible for oversight of enterprise risk management on a global basis, reporting to Ciro DeFalco, senior vice president and chief financial officer.
She has an extensive background in risk management and capital modeling, most recently with Chartis, the property/casualty insurance unit of American International Group.
The Navigators Group is an international specialty insurance holding company with insurance company operations, underwriting management companies, and operations at Lloyd’s of London. The company has offices in major insurance centers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe.
