Penn.-Based Venture Insurance Programs Names New Sales Representative

Venture Insurance Programs, a national program administrator based in West Chester, Penn., has appointed Stephen Holcombe as a Northeast/Mid-Atlantic sales representative.

As a sales representative, Holcombe is responsible for gaining increased submissions and building broker relationships in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic territories.

He will divide his time between the road and Venture’s offices, reporting to James Shaffer, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Venture.

Prior to joining Venture, Holcombe worked as insurance advisor at Hatfield Group, LLC. He has held underwriting positions at Distinguished Programs Group and Selective Insurance Company of America. He holds AU and AIS professional designations.

Venture Insurance Programs is a program administrator that designs, underwrites and distributes industry-specific insurance packages. The firm has underwriting alliances with major carrier groups, including Chubb, The Hartford, Allied World, RSUI, USLI, Zurich North America and Lloyd’s of London.

Founded in 1993, Venture provides specialty insurance packages for select vertical industries — including golf and country clubs, golf destination resorts, boutique hotels, resorts, hunting and fishing lodges and technology companies.
